What is Property Styling?
Property Styling is the art of styling a home to ensure the property reaches its optimum selling price.
How does it work?
When you engage THE HOME STYLING CO. MELBOURNE to design a styling package for your home you are engaging professional stylists who are knowledgeable and experienced. We know how to bring out a property's full potential. The trust is placed on the stylists to fill your home with quality furnishings that will help potential buyers fall in love with your home and achieve its optimum selling price.
We source, design and install a furnishing package tailored to your home, budget and the market. We take care of all the styling and furniture elements based on your properties features and your budget.
What does it cost?
Price is dependent on the property size and amount of furniture to be hired. We provide free quotations. For example, to style a 1 bedroom apartment would cost between $2000 - $2500 for a full styling package.
How long is an average hire campaign?
5 weeks. This allows for 1 week of photography and 4 week's sale campaign. If you require additional time we can continue to hire our furniture to you at a weekly rental fee.
How do your stylists choose furniture for a property?
Our combined expertise in interior design, styling and the Melbourne real-estate market means we have an ideal team to maximise the potential of any property. We have a warehouse of our own furniture, artwork and props giving us full control over the design and aesthetics for all our projects.
Can I use some of my own furniture?
We also offer partial styling to properties when you have furniture pieces that work with the space and our design style. These details are discussed and worked through at our initial consultation.
Do I have to vacate the property for the campaign?
No. Some styling companies request an empty home, however we understand that at times this is not possible. We work closely with our clients to ensure the campaign runs smoothly and in addition we also offer a weekly service to come and 'prep' your home prior to inspections.
What are the payment terms?
Payment in full is required 48hours prior to installation date.
Are you insured?
Yes. We have full insurance for all of our furniture for the entirety of your campaign.
How long before I sell my property should I engage THE HOME STYLING CO. MELBOURNE?
As we own our furniture we can be engaged at short notice. However, we highly recommend confirming your booking 2 weeks before the installation date.
